Tummy Time
Tummy time is laying babies on their stomachs for brief periods while they're awake. Tummy time is a great way to help your baby to strengthen the muscles they need for sitting, rolling and crawling. Start tummy time soon after birth. In the first few weeks, try tummy time for 1-2 minutes. Build up to 10-15 minutes several times a day. Side lying is a great alternative to tummy time if your baby doesn't tolerate being on their stomach.
